The Georgia Education Articulation Committee (GEAC) announced today that exhibitor registration for the Fall 2023 Georgia Probe College Tour is now open. This fall, colleges and universities can connect with high students and their families at 84 local fairs, covering 77 cities in the State.
Colleges can register online by visiting gaprobe.org.
Payment is by credit card only. Each local fair has a different capacity for the number of colleges and universities they can accommodate. Register early to get your selection of fairs.
Purchase an All Tour Pass for $2,625 to register for all events at once and receive a $300 discount, or select individual fairs ranging in price from $20 to $75 per event.
The tour includes:
84 Fairs Held in Local Communities
More than 76% of Probe fairs will be held during school hours, mainly on high school campuses.
New Rep Orientation and Tour Kickoff Reception
A New Rep Orientation is offered for new industry professionals or college representatives working the Probe tour for the first time. A Tour Kickoff Reception follows the orientation. These events are included in the All Tour Pass or may be purchased individually.
The New Rep Orientation and Kickoff Reception is $60, and the Kickoff Reception Only is $30, per institution.
Three Guidance Counselor Workshops
High school guidance counselor workshops will be held in Atlanta, Macon, and Savannah. Workshops allow college representatives to network with high school officials and share information and marketing pieces.
College Exhibitors Surveys and Feedback
College exhibitors are invited to complete post-fair surveys after every event to help us continually improve the tour. Survey feedback will be shared with college representatives at two “Rap Sessions” during the tour.
Scanner App and Student Registration
With two years of using the Ignite Capture scanning app, Probe has seen yearly increases in students pre-registering for fairs. Registered students can quickly provide information to colleges, allowing representatives to “scan” bar codes and add notes while answering student questions.
“The annual Georgia Probe College Tour is the only college tour in the state that provides student access to colleges of all shapes, sizes, and missions, whether they live in the north Georgia mountains, near the Georgia-Florida border, and everywhere in between,” said Clint Hobbs, executive director of Probe.
