Eligibility to Participate

US and International Colleges and Universities that meet the following criteria are eligible to exhibit during the Georgia Probe College Tour:

  • US College and Universities: Title IV eligible and accredited colleges, universities, and other postsecondary institutions and programs that offer undergraduate curricular study leading to a degree or diploma.
  • International Colleges and Universities: International institutions that offer academic degrees or diplomas sanctioned by the country’s Ministry of Higher Education or by a US accrediting association.

Registration Deadline

The deadline to register for a Probe fair is seven days prior to the event. The lead time gives our volunteer hosts the time they need to order tables and coordinate fair logistics.

Refunds

Probe fees are non-refundable. GEAC incurs fair costs whether or not you attend your registered event. These costs include table rental and set-up, promotional costs, and other administrative fees.

Exhibitor Guidelines

  • Exhibitor standards. GEAC has adopted the NACAC Code of Ethics and Professional Practices, which Representatives should be familiar with and abide by.
  • Promotional giveaways are strictly prohibited. Only literature about your college or university is permitted. The following are examples of prohibited materials: Keychains, Water bottles, T-shirts, Pennants, Food/Candy, and Bags. Pens are acceptable.
  • Promptness. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the fair starts and stay for the entire program. Be sure to look at traffic patterns ahead of time, especially if you’re in an unfamiliar region. Conflicts or emergencies may arise that prevent you from attending a particular program. If this occurs, contact your fair host.
  • Attire. Probe recommends professional attire. Dress to represent your school best and wear a name badge.
  • Parking. Each host site may have specific instructions on unloading and parking your vehicle. Please follow any directions provided by the fair host. When you arrive, please check in with the local fair host.
  • Exhibit floor. A 6-foot table will be provided for you, and colleges will be organized alphabetically. Please bring a table cover covering three sides of your table as they are required for all institutions participating in Probe.
  • Exhibit space. Displays should not exceed the booth’s parameters (the standard height is eight feet) or obstruct the view of adjacent booths. Audio-visual equipment, demonstrations, mascots, competitions, or raffles are not permitted. Student recruitment and distribution of literature are restricted to the parameters of the booth.
  • Scanning. We use “touchless information sharing” during the Probe tour. Students will be asked to pre-register in advance to receive a QR code to use at fairs. College representatives will be given access to the Probe Ignite Capture app, available for IOS and Android mobile phones.
  • Inquiry cards. You may have students who have not registered for the fair stop by your table. Please have paper inquiry cards available in this circumstance. Do not place these on your table, as printed inquiry cards should be the exception.
  • Refreshments. Fair hosts may provide refreshments at the fair; however, it’s good to have a light snack or meal before the program and bring a water bottle with you.
  • Tour updates. Make sure you are subscribed to tour SMS alerts, and check the Probe website for news.
